Electric Scooter With Seat for Heavy Adults (2026): Three Rated for 330 lb

A seat changes which scooters work for a big rider. Three seated scooters rated for 330 lb, what each one costs, and the catch on each.

By the ScooterBroker team · Updated

Short answer: for most heavy riders who want a seat, the isinwheel H7 is the one to start with. It is rated for 330 lb, has dual hydraulic suspension and 15-inch tires, and costs $749.99 on the maker's page. It weighs 111 lb and you will not carry it anywhere. If you need something you can lift into a car trunk, the EMOVE RoadRunner V3 is the smaller seated option, but it costs $1,595.

How we made this guide: we did not ride these scooters. We picked them on each maker's or dealer's published specs, and read every price on October 14, 2026. Range and speed numbers are the makers' claims. Most are measured with a 200 lb rider, so a heavier rider should expect less.

1. A seat is not the same as a seat that is rated for you

Many cheap scooters with a bolt-on seat say "330 lb" in the title. The number usually describes the frame. The seat post, the seat and the folding joint carry the load when you sit, and a seller's headline does not say whether they were built for it. We kept to scooters where the maker's own page gives the rating and shows a real seat. Our heavy-duty scooter guide explains how to read the weight rating and why to leave a margin.

2. Add your bag, then leave a margin

Add your body weight, your bag and anything on the rear rack. If the total is within about 25 lb of the rating, move up to a scooter with more headroom. Riding near the limit costs speed, range and hill power, and wears brakes and tires faster. Use our heavy-rider picker to filter by rating if you are above 300 lb.

3. Seated scooters are heavy, and most do not fold in half

A seat, a bigger frame and a bigger battery add up. The isinwheel H7 is 111.3 lb. The H7 Pro is 99.2 lb. Neither maker page says the scooter folds, only that the footrests fold. The RoadRunner V3 folds its handlebars slim and fits in a car trunk, but the dealer says it does not fold in half. If you live up stairs or need to carry it, a seated scooter is the wrong tool: see our foldable scooter guide, where the picks are lighter and have no seat.

4. Tires and suspension matter more when you sit

Standing, your knees absorb bumps. Sitting, your spine does. All three picks have front and rear suspension, and tires of 14 inches or more. The H7 has 15 x 3 inch pneumatic tires, the H7 Pro has 16 x 3.5 inch tires, and the RoadRunner V3 has 14-inch tubeless tires. Bigger, softer tires roll over cracks better. They also add weight.

5. Range: plan on less than the claim

The RoadRunner V3 dealer says its figures are calculated for a 200 lb rider and that heavier riders should expect less speed and range. An independent review site measured 32.8 miles on a claim of 50. Treat any claimed range as the best case, and pick a scooter whose claim is at least twice your round trip.

The picks

Prices are the maker's or dealer's price on October 14, 2026. None of these three has an Amazon listing we could confirm, so the links go to the maker or dealer page. We do not earn a commission on them.

  1. isinwheel H7

Who it is for: Heavy riders who want a seat, big tires and dual hydraulic suspension at the lowest price here. Rated for 330 lb, 1500W motor, 48V 15.6Ah battery, up to 43 miles and 35 mph claimed, hydraulic disc brakes and a wide padded seat.

The real downside: At 111.3 lb it is the heaviest pick, and the maker's page does not say it folds. It also does not say whether the seat is adjustable or removable. Check the seat height against your legs before you order.

$749.99 on the maker's page, listed down from $1,099.99. The Amazon listing that mixes the H7 and H7 Pro shows $899.99 and has stayed at or above about $700 for the last 90 days, so the maker's page was cheaper when we checked. · checked October 16, 2026

  2. isinwheel H7 Pro

Who it is for: Riders who want more motor power and the biggest tires here. 2000W motor, 52V 20Ah battery, 16 x 3.5 inch tires, dual hydraulic suspension, a 330 lb rating, and 99.2 lb, which is lighter than the standard H7.

The real downside: The page gives two top speeds (38 mph in the spec table, 40 in a comparison table) and two ranges (43+ and up to 50 miles), so treat the numbers loosely. It does not say it folds. At $849.99 it costs $100 more than the H7.

$849.99 on the maker's page, listed down from $1,099.99. The Amazon listing we found for it has no price history, so we do not link to it. · checked October 16, 2026

  3. EMOVE RoadRunner V3

Who it is for: Riders who need to store or lift it. Padded adjustable seat, dual 500W motors, a 1124Wh battery you can remove, 14-inch tubeless tires, hybrid hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors, and handlebars that fold slim to fit a car trunk.

The real downside: The most expensive pick, and the weight is unclear: the dealer says 55 lb, while a reviewer measured about 78 lb. It does not fold in half. The dealer says its range and speed figures are for a 200 lb rider, so a heavier rider will see less. It is sold through a dealer, not Amazon.

How we picked

Questions people ask

What is the best electric scooter with a seat for a heavy adult?

Of the seated scooters we checked that are rated for 330 lb, the isinwheel H7 costs the least, at $749.99 on the maker's page. The RoadRunner V3 is easier to store but costs about twice as much.

Is the seat rated for the same weight as the scooter?

Not always. A scooter's headline rating is for the frame. Ask the seller or read the manual for the seat post and seat. The three picks here show a 330 lb rating on the maker's or dealer's page for the whole scooter.

Can a seated electric scooter fold up?

Rarely in half. Seated scooters are bigger and heavier. The RoadRunner V3 folds its handlebars slim and fits in a car trunk. The isinwheel pages do not say the scooters fold.

Will a heavy rider get the claimed range?

No. Claims are usually measured with a lighter rider on flat ground at a gentle speed. A heavier rider should plan on a lot less, and hills cut it further.

Safety note: wear a helmet, ride at a speed you can stop from, and check your city's rules on where scooters may ride. Scooters this heavy are hard to stop on a downhill, so brake early. Lithium batteries need care: use the charger that came with the scooter, do not charge it overnight next to your bed, and stop using a battery that is swollen or damaged.
